If you are here, you definitely have some questions about what this is or you probably don’t even have an idea of what this is about but just found yourself here because you clicked a link, don’t worry, I will attempt to answer the fundamental questions that need answering and hopefully clarify and give context to what this is about.
What is StudentsInSTEMafrica?
StudentsInSTEMafrica is an attempt to spotlight African students finding their foot, exploring, contributing and pushing the boundaries in STEM. We will cover African students ranging from newbies who are driven and finding their foot in STEM, to intermediates who know what they want and are working towards it to those in the advanced stage who are pushing the boundaries of what is possible with STEM around the world.
Why StudentsInSTEMafrica?
With the increasing access to the internet and the adoption of technology, many Africans now have access to knowledge and resources for STEM education. Many people now see the possibility and now have access to opportunities of contributing to global developments.
Therefore, StudentsInSTEMafrica wants to put the spotlight on African students in STEM across the world changing the narrative and opening up a whole world of possibilities for others.
What to expect?
You should expect interviews with African students in STEM across the world and the students behind your favourite student communities, scholarship and job opportunities, news and monthly roundups of happenings in the world of STEM.
We will cover students at all levels ranging from newbies to intermediates, and people at advanced levels pushing the boundaries of STEM across the world.
